Enable Password for a test in Galileo

This article contains instructions on how to enable a password for

For an existing test:

1. From any page, select the calendar icon in the top right

2. Select the yellow bar associated with the appropriate test

3. Click VIEW/EDIT SCHEDULE

4. Under Additional Settings, check the box next to No Password

5. Type in your desired password.

6. Click Save

While creating a new test:

We can access the bulk scheduler from the launchpad tile or by going to Assessment>Test Scheduling>Bulk Scheduler

Step 1 Select a Test 

a. Select a library from the dropdown

b. Check the box next to the appropriate test

c. Click Next

Step 2: Select Schools

a. Select the school type

b. Check the boxes next to the schools

c. Click Next

Step 3: Filter Classes

a. Check  the box next to the appropriate Student Grade Level

Note: To correctly assign the test we must always pick by student grade level only.

b. Click Next

Step 4: Select Classes 
a. Check the box for each appropriate class
b. Select the Instructor of record for each class
c. Click Next

Step 5: Set time range when test will be taken
a. Edit the To date by clicking the calendar icon
b. If desired, select different availability for the day or time
c. Click Next

Step 6: Review scheduling information including advanced options
Note: All the settings on this page are optional

a. Check the box next to No Password

b. Type the password that you'd like to add

c. Click SCHEDULE TEST
