What data is included in the export file?

When you export report data for your organization(s), these columns are included in the export file:

Column Description
Student Number A number that identifies this student in Imagine Language & Literacy supplied by the customer.
Alternate Student Number

A secondary student identification number supplied by Imagine Language & Literacy.

This field is optional. If the Alternate Student Number has not been entered in Imagine Language & Literacy, this column will be empty.

Username The username of the student in Imagine Language & Literacy supplied by the customer.
First Name

The first name of the student in Imagine Language & Literacy supplied by the customer.

Last Name The last name of the student in Imagine Language & Literacy supplied by the customer.
District Name The name of the school district (or parent organization) that the student is assigned to.
School Name(s) The name of the school(s) (or child organization(s)) that the student is assigned to. When students are assigned to multiple schools, each school name is listed in the column, separated by semi-colons. If you're using Microsoft Excel to view your export file, you can isolate assessment data by individual school name.
Grade Level The grade level that a student is currently assigned to in Imagine Language & Literacy.
Teacher Name(s) The name of the teacher(s) that the student is assigned to. When students are assigned to multiple teachers, each teacher name is listed in the column, separated by semi-colons. If you're using Microsoft Excel to view your export file, you can isolate assessment data by individual teacher name.
Demographic Any demographic data tags that have been defined by the district or school.
Product Name The Imagine Learning product(s) that the student has used this school year. There are two values for Product Name: ILE (Imagine Language & Literacy) or IE (Imagine Español).
First Session Date

The date of the student's first session for this school year. If this column is empty, the student has not yet used Imagine Language & Literacy during this school year. Sort by this column to eliminate students with no results.

Last Session Date The date of the student's most recent session for this school year. If this column is empty, the student has not yet used Imagine Language & Literacy during this school year.
Total Usage YTD (minutes) The total amount of time (in minutes) that the student spent logged into Imagine Language & Literacy since August 1.
RLA 1 Date Completed (Beginning)

The date the student completed the Beginning Reading Level Assessment. The Beginning test period runs from August 1-October 31.

If this column is empty, the Reading Level Assessment may not have been enabled for this student's organization, the student may not be eligible to take the Reading Level Assessment, or the student may not have completed the test. Check the Reading Level Assessment Status report to verify that the student completed the test.

RLA 1 Score (Beginning)

The student's score for the Beginning Reading Level Assessment. For accurate analysis, compare student scores against these revised Reading Level Assessment score ranges.

If this column is empty, the Reading Level Assessment may not have been enabled for this student's organization, the student may not have been eligible to take the Reading Level Assessment, or the student may not have completed the test. Students are eligible to take the Reading Level Assessment if they are in Grade 2 or above and they have completed or tested out of the Beginning Books curriculum (Book 48). Check the Reading Level Assessment Status report to verify that the student completed the test.

RLA 1 Minutes (Beginning)

The amount of time (in minutes) that the student spent on the Beginning Reading Level Assessment.

If this column is empty, the Reading Level Assessment may not have been enabled for this student's organization, the student may not have been eligible to take the Reading Level Assessment, or the student may not have completed the test. Check the Reading Level Assessment Status report to verify that the student completed the test.

RLA 2 Date Completed (Middle)

The date the student completed the Middle Reading Level Assessment. The Middle test period runs from December 1-February 28.

If this column is empty, the Reading Level Assessment may not have been enabled for this student's organization, the student may not have been eligible to take the Reading Level Assessment, or the student may not have completed the test. Check the Reading Level Assessment Status report to verify that the student completed the test.

RLA 2 Score (Middle)

The student's score for the Middle Reading Level Assessment. For accurate analysis, compare student scores against these revised Reading Level Assessment score ranges.

If this column is empty, the Reading Level Assessment may not have been enabled for this student's organization, the student may not have been eligible to take the Reading Level Assessment, or the student may not have completed the test. Students are eligible to take the Reading Level Assessment if they are in Grade 2 or above and they have completed or tested out of the Beginning Books curriculum (Book 48). Check the Reading Level Assessment Status report to verify that the student completed the test.

RLA 2 Minutes (Middle)

The amount of time (in minutes) that the student spent on the Middle Reading Level Assessment.

If this column is empty, the Reading Level Assessment may not have been enabled for this student's organization, the student may not have been eligible to take the Reading Level Assessment, or the student may not have completed the test. Check the Reading Level Assessment Status report to verify that the student completed the test.

RLA 3 Date Completed (End)

The date the student completed the End Reading Level Assessment. The End test period runs from April 1-June 30.

If this column is empty, the Reading Level Assessment may not have been enabled for this student's organization, the student may not have been eligible to take the Reading Level Assessment, or the student may not have completed the test. Check the Reading Level Assessment Status report to verify that the student completed the test.

RLA 3 Score (End)

The student's score for the End Reading Level Assessment. For accurate analysis, compare student scores against these revised Reading Level Assessment score ranges.

Grammar Lessons Passed YTD The number of Grammar lessons that a student has passed since August 1.
Literacy Lessons Attempted YTD The number of Literacy lessons that a student has attempted since August 1.
Language Lessons Attempted YTD The number of Language lessons that a student has attempted since August 1.
Grammar Lessons Attempted YTD The number of Grammar lessons that a student has attempted since August 1.
Weekly Usage (in minutes) The amount of time (in minutes) that the student spent logged into Imagine Language & Literacy during a specific week, as measured from Sunday-Saturday. The date in each column heading corresponds to the start date of each week (Sunday) beginning August 1.
