Teachers and Administrators: After reading the Overview article and accessing the report on your device, use this article to help you analyze class-level data in the Cumulative Standards Proficiency report.

To analyze the class-level Cumulative Standards Proficiency report:

  1. Use the filters to customize the displayed data.
    A. Select a Subject (Math or Reading).
    B. Select a Rostered Grade if you are viewing a mixed-grade class and want to focus on students in a particular grade.
    C. Adjust View Standards by Grade to analyze performance on different grade-level standards—the default is the lowest grade-level standard that appears in one of your students' learning paths.

     Note

The number to the right of the report title is the number of students in the school, not necessarily the number of students in the report. Only students in the selected rostered grade who have been assessed on items mapped to relevant standards at the selected grade level will display in the report.

  2. Review the Overall Performance bar chart (top left) to see a distribution of assessed standards, categorized into different proficiency levels.
    • Each bar represents the number of standards at that proficiency level.
    • Total standards assessed at the selected grade level are displayed at the bottom.
    • A list of low-performing domains may appear if students' scores indicate that many are struggling on standards within particular domains.

  3. To the right of the Overall Performance chart is a chart with two complementary views that identify specific standards where students need additional support (Standards to Focus On) and areas where they are showing strong achievement (Standards to Celebrate). Each view displays:
    • The class-wide average score for each standard (Avg. Score).
    • Student counts in horizontal bars that are color-coded to indicate proficiency levels (Student Count by Proficiency Level).
Toggle between views using the buttons above the chart.
