The motivation system described below was implemented on February 16, 2024. Upon logging into Imagine Robotify after this date, students will notice they already have points and badges from previous challenge completions. However, we were unable to award badges and points for other types of previously completed actions. All streaks, course completions, project iterations, etc., will be calculated from February 17 onward.
Students earn badges and points for working in Imagine Robotify. The badges are acknowledgements of your accomplishments within the program, and the points can be spent to change your avatar. Unless otherwise noted, for each badge you earn, 25 points are automatically credited to your account. Earn 4 badges (100 points) and you'll have enough points to change your avatar!
Completing each course earns you a badge, as does completing various numbers of challenges, working continuous streaks of weekdays or weekends in the program, and taking actions such as creating your first project.
The table below explains what you need to do to earn each badge (and the accompanying points in your account). Notice how you'll gradually have to work harder or longer to earn badges in the same series.

To view your badges and points:
- Your points total displays in the top right corner of each page.
- To view your badges, open the drop-down menu and select My Profile.
The Badges/Achievements section is at the top of your profile.
