Teachers and Administrators can change a lesson's status to passed or not passed on the Student Progress report. This can be performed on lessons that appear on the Current and Complete view of the report as well as the Upcoming view.
You might choose to mark an upcoming lesson as passed if a student has demonstrated mastery of the lesson content outside of MyPath. Conversely, marking a lesson as not passed can indicate that the student needs further review or remediation before advancing. If a completed lesson is marked as not passed, the student may be required to repeat it. If a student didn't pass a lesson on their first attempt, you could also simply reassign it.
Lessons marked as passed receive a score of 100%, while not passed lessons receive a 0%.
Note
Upcoming lessons marked as passed or not passed are moved to the Current and Complete view and will show a dash ( - ) in the Active Time column.
To mark lessons as passed or not passed:
- Select a class.
- Click a student's name.
- Click the checkmark ( ) to mark passed or X ( ) as not passed for a lesson.
Note
Marking lessons as passed or not passed is indicated below the lesson's name in the Lesson column. Other actions taken are indicated with a timer ( ). Click the timer to view the actions and who performed them.
- Click Mark Passed (or Mark Not Passed) to confirm.
